America's Black Holocaust Museum was founded by Dr. James Cameron, a lynching survivor, in 1988 to educate US Citizens and the world about the Black Holocaust in America.
The new America's Black Holocaust Museum (ABHM) website helps the museum effectively shine a light on a critical topic - making more than 3,300 galleries and exhibits from its soon-to-open physical museum in Milwaukee available virtually. The website is designed to provide an engaging experience for visitors through the combination of images and stories that describe and commemorate the Black Holocaust from pre-captivity in Africa to present day. Breaking news is also given prominence on the site to share updates and culture by Black and other reporters in the Black and mainstream media.
Northwoods designed and built ABHM's website on WordPress, and created a simple, efficient process for the ABHM team to keep its unique Memorial to the Victims of Lynching up-to-date through data uploaded to the website as needed.
